The Priorities of Grace Believers Bible Church
- Salvation of souls through the gospel of the grace of God. (I Corinthians 15:3 – 4) We believe our Great Commission is found in II Corinthians 5:18 -20. We are ambassadors for Christ and are to plead in Christ’s stead for people to be reconciled to God.
- Grounding believers with Pauline doctrine so they can go on to spiritual maturity and be able to do the work of the ministry. (Eph. 4:12 – 14) (II Tim. 2:2)
- Rightly dividing the word of truth – Teaching the bible God’s way as He instructed in (II Tim. 2:15) – Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. We are to make the divisions in scripture that God makes. We teach the bible dispensational. As we believe is the only way to have clarity as to what the bible teaches. We believe the whole bible is for us but not all scripture is to and about us in the dispensation of the grace of God. (I Tim. 3:16)
We believe that in the apostle Paul’s writing alone (Romans – Philemon) is where we find the doctrine, position, walk, and destiny of the church (the body of Christ).
What makes our church different from most churches?
We follow God’s way of studying the bible found in (II Tim. 2:15) – “rightly dividing the word of truth.” (King James version). Think for a moment. God is the author of the bible – (II Tim. 3:16). God is not the author of confusion – (I Cor. 14:33). So, why are there so many religions, denominations, and confusion? It’s because they do not rightly divide the word, as it tells us to do in (II Tim 2:15). It’s the answer to clearing up all confusion. You can teach things that are in the bible, but if you don’t “rightly divide the word”, and put them in the right place, you can cause great confusion. We are here to bring clarity to the scripture. You will learn how to be able to study the bible for yourself.
